I'm back after a few difficult days. We said goodbye to our apartment, our furniture and most of our belongings, and our pretty perfect (for us) life in California. Now is time for a little breather before flying back to France. My playboy, our Spiky (our car) and me in a road trip to Oregon. Let's make sure to remember it.

Holcomb Valley Trail Run 15 miles race

A last running race, on the trails, to say goodbye to California. We got into trail running here. Obviously, we had to run a trail race before leaving. We chose Holcomb Valley Trail Run, in Bear Beak Lake, East of Los Angeles. Sunday June 7th, the playboy and I were on the starting line of the 15 miles race. A friendly atmosphere and a stunning race course for a great experience.

On the agenda

Running, cycling, swimming, trail running... lots of fun for me, these last few months. My first motivation is having fun and enjoying being outdoors. It's working pretty well. Anyway, setting goals is not that bad either. So, let's see what June will bring for me.

Trail running in Grand Canyon

So, as you know, I had the opportunity to run in the Grand Canyon. No surprise, it was: spectacular, exhilarating and hard. Because, once at the bottom, well, there's no elevator! (I thought Americans had a solution for everything?!)
