Ronde Givrée, 01/31/16 - a relay race in my hometown, Castres

On Sunday 01/31, I pinned a bib on my running shirt for the first time of the year. It's been a while. You should not bet on me to get motivated for a race in January. But this race was a bit special. It was a relay race and I did it with members of my family. Go, team "RAPOG on the go"!

10K Tournefeuille, my sister's version - a first race

"I would like us to run a 10K together." Everything started with this sentence.

10K Tournefeuille, my version - a race as a coach

Sunday, October 4th, my sister Fantine ran her first race, a 10K, in Tournefeuille, not far from Toulouse, in the South West of France. I ran it by her side to help her and be with her. A first for me and a first for her. We tell you how it went for both of us, in 2 posts. First, it's my version. I will let my siter tell you how it went for her, on the next post.

Holcomb Valley Trail Run 15 miles race

A last running race, on the trails, to say goodbye to California. We got into trail running here. Obviously, we had to run a trail race before leaving. We chose Holcomb Valley Trail Run, in Bear Beak Lake, East of Los Angeles. Sunday June 7th, the playboy and I were on the starting line of the 15 miles race. A friendly atmosphere and a stunning race course for a great experience.

I ran a 5K: Strawberry Stampede, Arroyo Grande

It was not on my agenda. I guess you know me, now, and usually it's: meticulous race choice/building of the training plan/training/race. Memorial Day weekend with Cathryn and her family near San Luis Obispo. A local race around. I ended up running a 5K.
