My first marathon [epilog]

Better than "The Hunger Games", as eagerly awaited as the next "The Lord of the Rings" saga movie: my first marathon epilog. After telling you all about the race in itself (2 parts: [1/2] - [2/2]), there's one more thing.

My first marathon [2/2]

Ready for the last part of my marathon journey? I was around mile 16. A bike path was waiting for me. Everything was fine. But, a marathon, if it were that easy, everybody would do it.

My first marathon [1/2]

Marathoner. Saturday, around 11am, I crossed the finish line of the Santa Barbara Marathon. 26.2 miles of physical effort, happiness, emotion, difficulty, focus, pushing the limits. It can go a long way. Follow me through my first marathon experience.

Marathon, D-1: JUST BREATHE

One more day. Here, we are. Saturday morning, I'll cross the start line of my first marathon.

Santa Barbara Marathon, S01E06: running fuel

To run a marathon, you need to take care of getting calories in. You have to hydrate and you also have to eat. Gels, energy chews, sugar cubes, fruits. Large choice of solutions, as large as the pack of runners. I did experiments of my own while training for the marathon. Let's talk about it.
