What's the plan for Sunday? For me, it's triathlon time...

Oh boy!... Here we are. Sunday, it's the Ventura Triathlon. MY triathlon. I made my decision about the distance. I'll go for the Olympic one: 1.5K swim / 40K bike / 10K run. On race week, what's on my mind?

On the agenda

Running, cycling, swimming, trail running... lots of fun for me, these last few months. My first motivation is having fun and enjoying being outdoors. It's working pretty well. Anyway, setting goals is not that bad either. So, let's see what June will bring for me.

Triathlon - cycling: Pimp my bike

Triathlon means getting into cycling... for real. Your bike will soon become your BFF (you don't have any other choice). So, why not trying to get the most out of it? For that, mine needed a few upgrades. I'll show you.

Triathlon 101

I speak a strange language: 26.2, 70.3, ironman, transition, leg. Last week end, I noticed that while speaking with my parents. Their blank stare when I mentioned "ironman" helped me understand that, NO, everyone doesn't think about sports when they hear "ironman" but most certainly about a Comics character. I think I can assume people around here know a little something about running. But, you may not know that much about triathlon. So, let me give you a head's up.
